Rachael Blandau serves as an Evaluation Research for REACH Evaluation. She provides data analysis, program evaluation, and research services to various projects such as Promise Neighborhood and KY Moms.

She received her Bachelor’s degree in Politics from Centre College, and earned her Masters of Arts and PhD in Political Science from the University of Kentucky, with concentrations in American politics and Policy. Her doctoral research focused on rural place identity, rural deprivation, and how both impact evaluations of governmental representation. Prior to joining REACH, Rachael was a political science instructor and research assistant at the University of Kentucky.

Rachael believes in the power of data analysis and evidence-based research to aid community development, which led her to choose practice over academia.

Outside of work, Rachael enjoys reading and attending sporting events. She also enjoys spending time with her dog, Ollie, and her family and friends.
